So football is officially over, it's 2009 and we have about 60 days or so until our first practice. After the depressing end to our Spring 08' season and a lack of enthusiasm in the fall, times are a changin' on the Bombsquad front. I was so annoyed at how spring ball ended that I had absolutely no desire to update this site and finish the stats

Bombsquad Makes First Ever In Season Trade

In a stunning move, Bombsquad GM Darren Valdes traded infielder Eric Oppenheim to Cobra Kai for a right fielder and a pair of nunchucks to be named later. Valdes said about the trade, "Well, we're obviously sad to lose a fixture of our franchise, but we were looking to go in another direction. And I needed new nunchucks." Oppenheim was hitting .381 at the time of the trade with one longball and six RBI.

APRIL 20, 2008.

Lexington Bar and Grille not only proved that they don't know how to spell, they also proved that they can't beat the Bombsquad on a softball field.

Tim waves Corey home, despite struggling with a sore ass the entire game.

Bombsquad bats came alive in Game One, scoring 15 runs.

Game Two proved to be a pitcher's duel, Bombsquad victorious; 4-2.

Tim Hekl deserves a Purple Heart for his performance today, pitching both games, and battling the cold weather, the fog, and a sore ass.
